Enamel Pins
I've been circling around the enamel pin trend for awhile now. I don't really wearable pins, but damn are in that location are some super cute pins out there and my logical resolve is wavering. Fifty-fifty more so when I found out that my coworker has created a really fun organization of pins on her bulletin lath. So I am doing the thing I similar to do when I can't make up my mind – waste fourth dimension on the internet and brand lists of things I'll get if I make up one's mind kickoff a collection.
1. Northern Spells, 2. Jelly Push Great britain, 3. Lil Boat Boutique, four. Glitter Punk, 5. The Pickety Witch Store, 6. Natella Describe Stuff, 7. Fairy Dust, 8. Faux Fox Studio
And so many great options! And so many great picayune shops. I still haven't reached a decision, but I follow quite a few more people on Instagram now, and I as well have a few more than shops added to my "favorites" on Etsy. So what practise you guys call back? To pin or not to pin?
Vans & Van Gogh
I don't know why this didn't happen sooner but Vans finally meets Van Gogh. In this wonderfully alliterative combination, the well known athletic brand has created a collection based around four of the creative genius'due south works. Finding inspiration in —Skull,Sunflowers,Almond Blossom,Self-Portrait every bit a Painter,Old Vineyard with Peasant Woman— which offer glimpses into certain moments in the artist life, these wearable masterpieces are now available to the masses.
Almond Bloom is one of my favorite pieces past Van Gogh and without a dubiety my favorite part of this collection. I would buy every single piece if I could.
The drove will be sold online at both Vans and at the Van Gogh Museum'southward gift store, and the museum will be donating all profits from the collaboration to the preservation of the Van Gogh drove and keeping the artist'south legacy alive.

Keeping Time with Olivia Burton
This may seem a little strange, but I haven't worn a picket since high school. It started with art class and having to remove it and whatsoever other jewelry from my wrist while painting or whatever since I tended to be a footling exuberant (aka messy) when it came to the cosmos process. Furthermore, it drove me nuts to take something clicking against the desk while I was writing. I tried wearing it on my non ascendant paw, and that was a little better, simply and then I took typing and well… that requires both hands then you lot can guess what happened next. In a world full of cell phones, it seems like the timepiece is more of a luxury rather than a necessity, the way it once was.
Recently all the same, I accept found myself in a few situations where neither my cellphone nor a wall clock wasn't immediately bachelor to me. It got me thinking, maybe, just maybe I should give this whole "lookout man" thing some other shot. It's been many years since loftier schoolhouse, and my fiscal resources permit for something other than the $9.99 Walmart special that I rocked back in the day. While I am nowhere near making my terminal option, I did want to share this amazing company I stumbled across calledOlivia Burton. Classy, feminine, and understated, these watches give you an accompaniment you tin can wear with near annihilation, while still being a picayune something special. Fifty-fifty better, they have vegan options that are every bit as lovely as their less animal friendly counterparts.
While the flowers are probably what I would ultimately choose, the idea of a gold piddling bumble bee or a delicate niggling bunny being the focal point really appeals to me. Probably considering information technology's a sophisticated version of something that would usually be constitute in the children's section.
While I was perusing options for myself, I was making mental notes of things I recall might exist nice for various souvenir giving occasions. For example, the sentinel above with the lovely pastel blooms and collywobbles and the perfectly coordinated sage green band? Perfect for my mom. Oh ,and she likes rose gold, can't forget the rose gold.
Really lovely options, but I am still not quite ready to bite the bullet and make the buy. Besides, there are a couple of gift giving holidays coming upwardly in the next few months (ie. my anniversary and Christmas) and more often than not Andy is willing to spend more than on me than I am on myself, so if I hold out who knows what I might stop upwardly with 😉

Vacation Sparkle For Your Tresses
Thanksgiving is non really known for its sparkle -that'southward much more of a Christmas or New Twelvemonth's Eve kind of thing-, but I recently discovered that Gratis People has some truly stunning hair jewelry available this holiday season. I would be willing to don a turkey day tiara, perhaps starting a new trend. After all, information technology would be alliterative. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.
I remember that a few of these, while gorgeous, are sedate enough to blend in at the dinner table. And so what'll be? Flowers? Geodes? Maybe a lilliputian of both?
